2nd NeoBux Payment:Payment Proof

5/10/2010
So I just got my 2nd NeoBux payment for about 3$. This leaves me feeling pretty happy and I can now cover my referals without using my own cash. I tried an ad on
ClixSense and it didn't really work out. So I lost 2$ in clicks there, but you live and learn I guess. Still hopefully I'll get enough cash from SwagBucks to eventually get a gold here soon so I can start making some real money. Anyway, here is my payment proof...

So yes it is a bit delayed but I finally got payed from CMF ads. The funny thing is though that you actually do better on your money if you keep it on the site (aka invest it so you get more hits to your blog.) Anyways, it appears that paypal is now charging a fee for everything not just to the sellers on the market.

Three dollars ain't bad for just putting the ads up on my site and letting them sit. If you want to advertise your blog, or make a bit of profit off it check out the site CMFads.com.

Starting up NeoBux

4/03/2010
So as you all know I have been a fan of PTC sites, the only problem is that a lot of them tend to be scams. The one site however I have found that most people highly recommend is NeoBux. Because of computer issues, I have not been really able to log on to this site, but luckily something changed in the last few days.

I went ahead and invest 5$ just so I could buy some referrals, and get to cash out sooner. Now yes, I have seen a lot of posts talking about how it is a scam, but in those posts are a ton of people saying that it is not a scam. So NeoBux, this is going to be an interesting test. I already have 38 cents sitting in my account, and am aiming for the $2.00 cashout. I will let you all know how it is going as time moves on.

Search & Win

Been forever since trying to post money making blog posts online. This most due to the fact that I tried to start making it else where aka working. Now while I will say that it is not my dream job, working in the work force generally does make more than you will get online. What is nice though is that I can still earn prizes with Swagbucks .

A little while back they bumped up the amount you could earn. Where as stuff used to be running at 1 SB you now get 10. I do believe that they increased all the prices to compensate, however it is easier in my opinion to earn especially if you have the toolbar installed. Still no big money, but I got 2 PayPal gift certificates for 5$ each. I'll post a photo when they get here in the mail. Anyways, give Swagbucks a try. It is worth it.

My month with Adgitize

6/12/2009
So this last month I have be using Adgitize as a means to get more traffic over to LoaTW. It had its ups and downs but There where some things I really liked about it.

I made all my money back
It wasn't the easiest money in the world but I did make over 17$. This will help pay for next month and was quite rewarding to get a hold of.

I got a lot more traffic
I officially hit over 100 hits every single day which was nice. Not all of was quality, but I did manage to get some feedback and my readership went up by about 5 to 10 people. Plus on top of all this my bounce rate didn't go up that much which was nice for me.

Entrecard Spiked
The amount of hits that I received to my widget was defiantly nice. I got at least 80 hits everyday to my widget, and was able to use the cash out system to make 15$ this month with EntreCard.

Would I recommend it?
Yes, I would very much recommend it especially for anyone who is just starting out and is doing hundreds of drops daily anyways. If you want to get more hits Adgitize is defiantly a great program. I want to renew my subscription but not just yet, as I am leaving on another trip in two weeks, and plan on getting the most out of what I am paying for.

How to make money off your Referral links

6/05/2009
Now for a lot of out there we spend a lot of time writing up posts, posting affiliate links, and yet still…no one joins up on the sites that we talk about. Now although the chances are that you are probably just not get enough traffic, it helps to get a boost of income just when someone clicks on your link. How do you do this? By using websites let you shorten it. Not tinyurl but…

I recent stumbled upon two different sites that let you monetize your outgoing links. The 1st is called Linkbee, while the 2nd is called Adfly. Setting up an account is easy (email, name, user, and pass) and from here you just put in a link and they give you a shortened version of the link that has an advert that your clickers can either pass up, or just watch. Also what is nice is that the two sites track your clicks, so you can know how many people are actually clicking on them.

So what is the difference between the two sites? Well here are my 1st impressions.
Linkbee has a much better looking interface. You can set up links as well as banners, plus upload pictures, and you can have it upload straight to your twitter account. The advantage here is that you can also get cash from you refs at 15%, 10%, 5%, 5%, and 5% for each level down to 5. CPM is $1.50 in the states, so you won’t get rich quick but you will make a bit of extra cash. Cashout is 15$.

Adfly is not as good, but it has some perks. You can have links up, but not banners or pics (that I can see.) CPM is only $1 and payment with refs is only 1 level deep, but it is set at 20% which is very nice. The think that I like about this site is that unlike Linkbee it codes the pages so that they work out perfectly for Twitter (almost like a Tinyurl link). Cashout is 20$ but you start out with 5$ in your account.

So for these two link shorteners I would recommend Adfly for when you are using Twitter, and Linkbee when adding stuff to your site as it won’t irritate your visitors as much.

So now the ball is in your court. What experiences have you had with link shorteners such as these? Would you recommend them? What other sites out there are better or worse?
